The All England Club has confirmed that, owing to the bad weather today and under the terms of The Championships’ ‘Raincheck’ policy, eligible ticket holders will receive the following refunds of the face value of the ticket: Centre Court: Full refund as less than one hour’s play No.1 Court: Half refund as more than one hour, but less than two hours’ play No.2 Court and Ground tickets: Full refund as less than one hour’s play Refunds for tickets bought in advance will be paid out automatically. Tickets bought on the day at the turnstiles (prior to 5pm only) should be sent to the Club’s Ticket Office. Because of the numbers involved ticket holders are advised to follow the procedure for ticket refunds outlined on The Championships’ web-site at www.wimbledon.org and not to call in person at the Ticket Office or to telephone the Club. Ian Ritchie, Chief Executive of the All England Club said: “We all share the disappointment and frustration at today’s outcome and thank everyone for their patience and good humour in the face of the trying circumstances. Although I am sure it will not compensate for the disappointment caused, I can confirm that the appropriate refund will be paid to the original purchaser.” NB: Arrangements for Monday 2 July – play on all courts will start at 11.00am and the gates will open at 10.00am.
