About Wimbledon - Virtual Tour
Aorangi Picnic Terrace (Henman Hill)

The area north of the Centre Court became known as Aorangi Park after the Club purchased 11 acres of land from John Barker Ltd. of Kensington in 1967 and subsequently granted a lease to the New Zealand Sports and Social Club. (Aorangi, meaning ‘Cloud in the Sky', is the Maori name for Mount Cook.) In recent years, the park has been the scene of much activity and has been affectionately dubbed "Henman Hill".

A large television screen shows current matches and tennis information to all areas of Henman Hill.
